To my great distress, the universe (or, more specifically, US Homeland Security) prevented me from crossing the border to play the Eclipse Festival in Canada this year. But i know that Tech Safari and their community had a great festival up there, and I was really happy to hear of the party’s success; and since I had thought about my set for so long - i wanted to record some blueprint of what it would have been.

Alors - voici "ECLIPSED" - pour celebrer ce bel ete 2008!! I would've loved to have played this in the open air, but I do think it sounds nice indoors as well ) .... I hope you enjoy!!

Note:: The flute improv is me playing live and runs through the whole set [excluding the last track, as Mr Shaikh really already did quite enough to bring out the beauty of this chant!]. Recorded on an iKey, using Pioneer DJM 3000, CDJ 100s & Barcus Berry flute mike....
